Well Putt — a free daily golf game where gravity curves every putt
Well Putt is a free browser golf game set in space. Every day there's a new 3-hole course — the same one for every player in the world — where gravity wells bend your ball's path and the walls play like cushions. Drag back, release, and try to finish under par. Streaks, a spoiler-free share string, and an unlimited practice mode. No download, no signup: it loads in about a second.
How to play
- Drag anywhere on the screen to aim — pull back like a slingshot, further = harder putt.
- Release to putt. Every stroke counts toward your score.
- Gravity wells curve the ball. Courses are built so the straight shot never works — use the pull.
- Walls bounce the ball back like cushions. Banked shots are often the answer.
- The purple core of a well swallows your ball: +1 stroke penalty and a reset to where you putted from.
- Sink the glowing ring to finish the hole — a slow ball drops in, a fast ball flies right over it.
Controls
| Device | Controls |
| Mouse | Click and drag anywhere, release to putt. The preview line shows your start direction. |
| Touch | Touch and drag anywhere, lift your finger to putt. Works on phones and tablets. |
Game modes
- Daily course — 3 holes, identical for everyone on the same day. Beat par, keep your streak, share your scorecard. The share button copies a challenge link: friends who open it see your stroke count on today's course and get dared to beat it — beat a friend's round and the game tells you to send one back.
- Practice — unlimited random courses, no pressure, no effect on your streak.
- Archive — finished today's course? Replay any past day's daily course, exactly as it was on that date. Your best total per course is saved; the archive never touches your streak.
Tips
- Aim away from where you want to go when a well sits mid-route — the pull does the steering.
- A gentle putt that grazes a well can wrap almost all the way around it. Orbit shots feel great and score better.
- Too much power is the classic mistake: the ball must be slow when it crosses the ring to drop in.
- Check the walls first. A one-bank putt is often simpler than threading two wells.
